Yang is a Ph.D. student in Systems Engineering at Cornell University. She is also a design researcher at the Environmental Systems Lab of the College of Arts, Architecture and Planning (AAP) at Cornell University. Yang has a great interest in urban simulation, generative design and machine learning, and her primary research focus is on the interdisciplinary data-driven urban design decision-making. She holds a Master of Science from Cornell University, a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor in Engineering from Tongji University.
